License Types

  • A school-managed license is transferable can be assigned to one teacher within the purchasing school or organization.

    The assigned licensee receives the right reproduce the product for personal, educational, and instructional use until the license is assigned to a new user.

    School-managed licenses are typically purchased by schools.

    The purchasing organization holds the license and can reassign it due to staffing changes such as retirement, reassignment, and turnover.

    The license is retained by the purchasing organization if a teacher leaves their position.

  • A personal license holder receives an individual, non-transferable license to reproduce the product for personal, educational, and instructional use.

    Personal licenses are typically purchased by educators for use in their own classrooms and the license follows the educators when they leave their current assignment.

Multiple licenses are required for use in multiple classrooms. One license is needed per teacher.

Co-teachers providing support within the same classroom do not need additional licenses if the primary teacher holds or is assigned a license.
